Art for All: Acrylic Pouring In-Person

Acrylic pouring is a fluid art technique, where a pouring medium is mixed with acrylic paint to reduce its viscosity, then is poured onto a canvas and manipulated by tilting or other methods to create patterns and designs.

This is an easy, fun technique in creating colorful, abstract art. Artists can apply color in puddles, pools, and marble-like patterns.

In this demonstration, we will explore a variety of pouring techniques using canvas as a base and moving paint by tilting, scraping, or creating designs with a palette knife.

Helen Hadley, a retiree who paints and donates proceeds of her sales to breast cancer research, will bring humor and tips to the fun demonstration.

Suitable for adults and seniors.
